- You’ve taught vinyasa yoga in a studio environment for at least 6 months.
- Your YA Certification is current.
- You seek a feedback environment in which to grow your teaching.
- You love what we do.

YOGA TEACHER MENTORSHIP: YOGA ALLIANCE CERTIFIED
(new to teaching)
Our mentorship program is one-of-a-kind and meant to prepare a new(er) teacher to teach here at the Funky Buddha Yoga Hothouse! *
*Folks who are working in non-studio settings, serving in non-traditional spaces (schools, non-profits, etc.) and want to continue to take yoga into lesser-served areas and communities: please apply!
Mentorship entails 6-9 months of dedicated weekly time working on teaching, communication, understanding self and others, and practical application of many yogic principles. We build on the learnings one takes from a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and deep dive into the principles and techniques- so you have confidence and clarity in not only what and how you are teaching, but also why.
The exact schedule is created once we find the right folks, though you can plan on:
- About 4 contact hours per week (usually two 2-hr sessions)
- An additional 4-10 hours of brain space for practice, book reading, and planning time; it’s a bit like adding a graduate class to your schedule
Funky Buddha’s Yoga Teacher Mentorship program is $1,000, and all training hours can be applied toward Yoga Alliance for continued education. Applications are NOW OPEN, and deadline to be considered for an interview is June 30th, 2024 at Midnight. Funky Buddha Yoga will begin mentorship in late July 2024.
